ial food service industry for more than 10 minutes you already know that Blodgett is the only serious choice for the professional baker or Chef when it comes to convection ovens. All of Blodgett products have been designed and built for high demand kitchens to work hard all day – every day.

If you have used the Blodgett DFG series convection ovens in the past, then you already know. 

Blodgett builds 3 different levels of convection ovens. There is the BDO and SHO line of convection ovens and those would be considered entry level for those who need to use an oven every now and then. Then there is the Zephaire line of ovens and those are great ovens considered mid range by Blodgett standards. The DFG line of ovens is Blodgett’s flagship, top of the line – “Premium Series” made for extreme demand professional kitchens. They cost twice as much as the Zephaire because they are built to much higher standards. Typically you will find the DFG series in places like Olive Garden and Red Lobster etc. They are built super heavy duty and the double will weigh in at almost 1200 lbs but beyond that they are designed to eliminate any hot or cold spots and will deliver consistency for many years if taken care of.

The DFG 200 is considered bakery depth and a little deeper than the DFG 100. The internal rack size is 28 x 28″ so that sheet pans will fit in either direction and the BTU rating is a bit higher (60,000) to accommodate the larger oven cavity.

What we know…

These beautiful ovens have not been re-conditioned. They look new simply because they’ve been used very little. It looks as if the ovens were never used, in fact the oven floors are like a mirror and all of the the interior porcelain looks like black chrome.

The digital displays and large and can be seen from across the kitchen.  The center pull doors open and close with a nice snap and there isn’t many signs of use. The all stainless exterior has a mirror-like shine to it and as you can see,  the window glass is crystal clear and like it isn’t even there. The two speed blower fans come on fast, run strong and are almost silent with the doors closed. These ovens have never been used for roasting meat and if your business is wedding cakes or high-end pastry, that’s a pretty big deal.

Overall foot print is 38″w x 37″d x 72″h – Each oven requires 1, 110 volt electrical connection.

Gas options – you choose…

Currently the ovens are set up for natural gas however if they need them to be set up for propane, we will convert them for you at no charge. Please allow a couple of days to complete the conversion.
