Description

OK – Let’s talk about your next braising pan…

This is not a toy made in China. Vulcan Hart equipment is proudly built by Americansin Louisville, KY and is sold all over the world. Their products have earned their reputation for ease of operation, high performance and long lasting reliability. All Vulcan equipment is designed and built to be used by the professional Chef in high demand environments all day – every day.

Fry 60 pieces of chicken, 55 hamburger patties or 65 fish filet’s in 6 minutes. How about 40 gallons of soup or stew or steam 50 lbs of veggies? The pan is wide to allow you to spread things out or to cook one thing on one side and something else on the other and the sides are high and can be considered a true kettle. After the sale I will send you a cook book with hundreds or recipes designed for this exact skillet. This high performance skillet would be a perfect choice for any commercial restaurant, institutional kitchen or a large catering operation and is the most versatile piece of equipment you can own!

What we know…

Please take a minute to enlarge the pictures to get a close up view of this beautiful braising pan. This skillet looks new simply because it was never really used. The skillet has spent all of its life covered in plastic in the back of a small kitchen and used more as a table then a tilt skillet.

The all stainless construction is flawless and has the look of chrome. The pan is flawless and has that sort of velvet, Teflon finish that you only get with new. You can keep an eye on the pan from across the kitchen simply by glancing at the mirror reflection in the lid. The controls are simple and problem free and the power tilt is super strong and over-built. It tips the pan without effort.

Why Vulcan?

There are a few differences between Vulcan skillets and all of the rest that should be pointed out. First, everything – including the frame is constructed out of stainless steel and that’s a pretty big deal. All of the other brands will rust out over time because of the sheet metal used in the frame.

Another really nice difference is that the lid stays where you leave it. No need to have a separate vent on top that collects grease and food build-up that needs to be removed and cleaned. When you need to vent just raise the lid about an inch and it will stay there.

The lift motor and actuator gear box that lifts the pan is rated to handle 3,250 lbs ensuring that the actuator will never fail.

The fold-away pan holder is there when you need it and will pop out of the way when you don’t.

Take just a minute and check out the most important part of any gas appliance – the burner. This has to be in clean, rust-free condition not only for the longevity of the appliance but for safety reasons as well. Whoever you buy from, always ask for a few clear pictures of the burner.  If what you receive are pictures of a lot of rust or built-up nastiness, move on.

Overall foot print is 36″D x 48″W. Requires one, 110 volt and one gas connection. Currently this skillet is set up for propane however, if you are using natural gas, we will convert it for you at no charge. Just allow a few days for us to receive the conversion parts.
