What we know

Please take a minute to enlarge the pictures to get a close up view of this beautiful braising pan. This skillet looks new simply because it was used very little. It comes from a small school system and was bought right about the time that they decided to go with pre-made food for the lunch program. Schools no longer actually cook much. The school lunches are now made off-site and warmed up at the school.

The all stainless construction is flawless and has the look of chrome. You can keep an eye on the pan from across the kitchen simply by glancing at the mirror reflection in the lid. Using 120,000 btus the pan heats up quick and the thermostat works perfectly. The controls are simple and problem free and the always dependable manual tilt is super strong and over-built. It tips the pan without effort.

Check out the video as well as the close-up pictures of the most important part of any gas appliance – the burner. The burner should always be clean and rust free not only for the longevity of the equipment but for safety reasons as well. Most other seller won’t show you a picture of the burner for a very good reason. In this case the burner is bright-n-shiny and new. Before buying anything gas, always ask for a good clear picture of the burner.

Why Vulcan ?

There are a few differences between Vulcan skillets and all of the rest that should be pointed out. First they are constructed out of stainless steel and in this case, even the interior frame and that’s a pretty big deal. All of the others will rust out over time because of the sheet metal used in the frame.

Another really nice difference is that the lid stays where you leave it. No need to have a separate vent on top that collects grease and food build-up that needs to be removed and cleaned. When you need to vent just raise the lid about an inch and it will stay there.

Overall foot print is 36″D x 48″W Requires one 110 volt outlet. Currently the skillet is set up for natural gas however if you need it to be set up for propane, we will convert it for you at no charge.
