This high performance kettle would be a perfect choice for any high demand restaurant, institutional kitchen or a large catering operation. Steam jacketed kettles are non-scorching and are perfect for Soup Du Jour, stock, re-fried beans, salsa, Mac N Cheese, craft beer, fudge, Artisan candies, BBQ sauce etc. The 20 gallon stationary kettle takes up much less space in the kitchen and is a bit more safe to operate.
What we know…
As with most of our equipment, the kettle comes from a government agency and was purchased with 7 other kettles at the same time. Some were used right away and others, like this one were held until needed. We don’t think it was ever used. Please take a minute to enlarge the pictures to get a close up view of this beautiful kettle and see what you think. Look at the inside of the bowl and behind the operator panel. The kettle is new. It operates as you would expect a new kettle to work. The jacket water is crystal clear and the gauge holds a solid -20 when not in use. The inside of the kettle is perfect with that sort of grainy stainless finish you only find with new equipment. There are no circuit boards that may pop and smoke, leaving you unable to produce. Comes with heavy duty locking casters.
Overall footprint – 31″w x 40″h Requires one, 110 volt connection. Currently the kettle is set up for natural gas however if you need it in propane we will convert it for you at our cost for parts. Just allow a couple of days to order and receive the conversion kit.
