The kettle uses forced air just like a diesel or jet engine does to create a hotter flame while using less gas and is Energy Star rated. Steam jacketed kettles are non-scorching and are perfect for Soup Du Jour, stock, re-fried beans, salsa, Mac N Cheese, craft beer, fudge, Artisan candies, BBQ sauce etc.
What we know…
Like everything we offer, this beautiful kettle came from a government agency and was purchased along with 5 others. Some were put into service right away and a couple, like this one, was held until needed. This kettle has not been re-conditioned. It is in new condition simply because it was never really used.
Please take a minute to enlarge the pictures to get a close up view of this beautiful kettle. It operates as you would expect a new kettle to work. The jacket water as you can see is clean and new and the gauge holds a solid -20 when not in use. The inside of the kettle is perfect with that sort of stainless grain finish you only find with new equipment. There are no circuit boards that may pop and smoke, leaving you unable to produce. It comes with the optional 2″ draw valve that will empty the kettle almost immediately.
FYI – There is one up here that looks sort of like this one being advertised as a 2016. Look a little closer at the welded-on data plate. It’s a 2005.
