Description
This listing is for a Blodgett professional grade set of ovens model DFG 100 “Premium Series”. Blodgett builds the best commercial ovens in the food service industry and this is their most problem free build design without any sort of digital displays or automation.
This is not a toy made in China. Blodgett ovens are built by American’s in Burlington, Vermont and they have been perfecting the convection oven since 1848. Blodgett has earned their solid reputation for long lasting reliability, high performance and consistency. If you have been in the commercial food service industry for more than 10 minutes you already know that Blodgett is the only serious choice for the professional Baker or Chef when it comes to convection ovens.
Blodgett builds 3 different levels of convection ovens. There is the BDO and SHO line of convection ovens and those would be considered entry level for those who need to use an oven every now and then. Then there is the Zephaire line of ovens and those are great ovens considered mid range by Blodgett standards. The DFG line of ovens is Blodgett’s flagship, top of the line – “Premium Series” made for extreme demand professional kitchens. They cost twice as much as the Zephaire because they are built to much higher standards. Typically you will find the DFG series in places like Olive Garden and Outback Steakhouse etc. They are built super heavy duty and the double will weigh in at 1200 lbs. Beyond that they are designed to eliminate any hot or cold spots and will deliver consistency for many years if taken care of.
The center pull doors open and close with a nice snap and there isn’t many signs of use. The interior porcelain looks like black chrome. The all stainless exterior has a mirror-like shine to it and as you can see, the window glass is crystal clear and like it isn’t even there. The two speed blowers come on fast, run strong and are silent with the doors closed. These ovens have never been used for roasting meat and if your business is wedding cakes or high-end pastry, that’s a pretty big deal!
These ovens have not been reconditioned. They look new simply because they were barely used. They were sent to a government location and have spent most of their life in the box they were shipped in, parked high up on pallet racking.
Overall foot print is 38″w x 37″d x 72″h – Each oven requires 1, 110 volt electrical connection.
